    I'm making a horror game, and need to know how to scare somebody "mentally"?

    I really wouldn't know how to explain it, but I want to scare somebody in a way that they don't jump and scream, but where they feel very uncomfortable. Like they're being watched by a demonic figure. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?
