    Where is the fuel filter located on my 88 caprice classic?

    I don't have an Owner's Manual and I can't find it. Every time I crank my car up there is an enormous amount of smoke coming from the tailpipe. The smoke smells like fuel/gasoline. And I can also smell it inside my car. Can that be the reason for the smoke or what?

    I have a stock 350 small block engine. What are a few things I can do to this engine to gain extra horsepower, torque, etc. The carburetor is busted on it so I will need one of those too. Any ideas? Sorry Guys!! Its a 1988 Chevy Caprice.
