    Can a dirty disc reader (lens) on the Ps3 cause Yellow Light of Death?

    Yeah my friend wanted to know, someone got a greasy finger print on a cd, and tried to play it in the Ps3, 5 minutes later it went YLOD, and the system was off all day, it just got turned on at that point. I'm thinking maybe the grease on the cd got transported to the disc reader? Not sure. What...
