What is this quick random sharp pain in my left ear?

Steps to take before donating my Samsung A707 Cell Phone?
Hello, I'd like to donate a cell phone but I'm not sure if I should include the SIM card or not. As long as I erase all the information, would it be ok to include that? I don't have an account with AT&T anymore.
