my ipad 2 and my ipod touch 4, always have wifi connection bars, and always say their connected when im home, but very often although it is connected it will not let me be on the internet. has anyone ever had this problem, or know a solution?

I have a 2008 Dodge ram 2500, 6.7 cummins. The brake light in the dash has come on. I checked all fluids and emergency bake. Does anyone know the reason for this? I do not wan to take to a dealer and spend a fortune...
