So my 93 civic hatch has rust on the wheel well front lip. A shady, car body repair guy tells me it will be like 2 to 4 grand to fix , cuz he will need to cut the whole side back off and weld a new one on , is this true or is there something cheaper .

My civic hatchback says its an SiR, on the back ? What does that mean ? all I can find is SI's not SiR's ? whats the difference ???
