    How do I make the hidden blade pop out?

    I'm playing assassin's creed 2 and I am on sequence 2, memory 2 on mission called ace up my sleeve, I am at Leonardo Da Vinci's house and I cannot make the hidden blade come out. I try holding Q and selecting it from my inventory but nothing happens. What do I press?
