    Why does my torch light glow blue when being wound-up?

    My torch is a rechargeable wind-up one, with a transparent LED light. I sometimes end up winding it a little strongly when it's on, and if enough strength is applied the LED begins emitting a bluer-shade of light. Stopping when I stop winding. I'm guessing it has something to do with more...
