    Covering up a black eye?

    I got a black eye and i need help covering it up a bit. Its really dark blackish, purplelish red underneath my eye. its bruising on my eyelid, but i dont really care if i cover that up. the swelling went down already (thank you for snow and frozen veggies!) I pretty much look like zombie...

    Hold fast to dreams, For if dreams die, Life is a broken-winged bird That cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, For when dreams go, Life is a barren field Frozen with snow that was the poem. what does "life is a barren field" mean? what is a barren field anyway?
