i am repurchasing an extended rear drive shaft for my jeep, since my last one broke, and i am not sure the type of axle. i believe it is the Dana 44, but if anyone knows for sure, it would help a lot. thanks for any thoughts.

My transmission is a nv3550, i have issues with first and second gear. The NV3500 has issues with 5th and reverse. im not sure if the gears from one would work in the other, or if the nv3500 tranny would fit into the 2001 jeep wrangler. Any advice would be appreciated. The guy is selling the NV...
