    Curb scratch on rims.?

    So after scratching my 2006 jetta rim on the curb, there is now quite a mark on my right front rim. I'm considering replacing it and i have a couple questions. Will this void the warranty that I have on it? Do I have to report this to insurance? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated
