    Parking with a manual transmission- Should I park in gear or neutral w/ brake on?

    My driveway is level and off the road. So I usually park in Reverse gear. Someone recently told me I should park with it in neutral and with the emergency brake on - that way it someone bumped my car it wouldn't damage a gear or roll into the house. Any Opinions? (I have a 6-speed manual...
