    Help Decorating a living/dining room?

    I am starting from scratch and need some ideas on good color for walls and furniture. I want SOME color in here how should i go about doing this. I have hardwood floors that need refinished. Any ideas would be wonderful. Thanks in advance. Also I do NOT want white furniture.
