please help , i want to buy a google nexus one phone or the other droid phone that are locked ,in a cheap price then unlock it ,is this really possible or i'll waste my money ,Or should i just buy an unlocked version that costs more than 500$

Can anyone show me how to enable/install thumbnails in ubuntu ? I know it's possible because I saw it in the ultimate edition and I got used to it.
