    Airtel Wireless? Can I call the US from Afghanistan with an Airtel Wireless phone plan?

    I'm deploying to Afghanistan soon. If I get an Airtel Wireless phone plan before I leave, will I be able to call home to the states from Afghanistan? Thanks!

    I'm going to JRTC with my unit next month at Fort Polk. This will be my first deployment and everything. What's JRTC like? What's deployment like? I'm going to Afghanistan(Kunar) by the way. Thanks!
