It's the stock engine w/e that is and the previous owner rebuilt it or had it rebuilt by someone else. i just want to know will it be fast enough to at least put up a small fight against a Ford Lightning or if not what i can do to make this so. any help is apreciated. thanks

I had an epiphony today about buying a ford ranger and doing a v8 conversion to it supercharged of course. My line of reasoning was that rangers are light trucks and v8s (especially when supercharged) are usually in fast cars so it should haul bass fairly well but i want a 4wd ranger is this...
