I bought an Apple Composite AV Cable today and tried using it on my iPhone 3GS w/ iOS 4.0.2 (Not Jailbroken). It said "This accessory is not optimized for this iPhone." even though the cable is a Genuine Apple cable. There is audio but no video output to the Television. What could be the problem.

like, if you recorded yourself singing and you heard it, thinking you sound great, but other people dont hear what you hear. why is that? thanks.x
