I have my phone in "general" profile and obviously have my separate tones for phone calls and for text messages. However, I like the tone I have for my text messages but is there any way to lower the volume of the message tone without lowering the volume of the ringer for voice calls? thanks alot

What phone in the market has a built in answering machine? I'm using a CDM-8600 which has AM but none of the newer Audiovox phones has an AM as far as the AV guys have told me. It doesn't need to be a CDMA phone, it can be also a GSM phone, my CSP has the two networks. Thanks, David

I have thousands (literally) of contacts in the Palm and need to move them to Google to have them on the G1. I sync with Palm Desktop currently, but *could* sync to Outlook 2003 if that is a required step to get to Google. Any ideas how to accomplish this? TIA! Reg
