i need opinions on your favorite please

i have metro pcs, and i know the only blackberry they have is the 8330 and it's $400. i was thinking about getting one from another company and having it flashed; does anyone have a blackberry flashed to metro? does any type of blackberry work with metro or just the 8330?

if so how does it work? can it be any blackberry not just a 8330
