    Can i text on my iPod touch, but with my own cellphone number that i already have?

    So my parents took my phone away for god who knows what reason. I just want to text people from my iPod touch, but i don't want to use a different number than the one i already have. So is there an app i can use?

    are there any chat rooms for 14 through 17 year olds? i dont want games just chat rooms. im not looking for people to date either. thanks
