    GTA IV doesn't start a new game?

    I just got gta 4 for ps3 and installed the new patch and the thing that installs during the slide show. After that's done, it stays at the slide show forever! Why doesn't it start a new game? this is really pissing me off. I even tried to start the game without the ethernet wire connected to it...
