My problems are weather and pests such as horseflies. For weather I just pack an emergency blanket and pancho. For the horseflies I just pay more attention and whack them or move to another area, since deet doest not work

I mainly fish for trout so the best bet for me is to get them from behind or directly above me. Usually I try to find cover and approach them as stealthly as possible.

...just keep things simple? Take a look at the chefs on tv that pretty much explains it. My point is if you are usually cooking something fancy it has a lot more calories in it

I do admit chicken liver works but its a one time use thing,therefore whatever is leftover goes to waste. If I use baitfish from the pond where I fish it is free and ALL I do is drop a fly in there and the panfish goes after it. I am going for channel cats and bullheads,more likely channel cats...

for the most part no. however there are greedy people out there who overfish and abuse this privilege
