    can you buy a phone on ebay from another carrier such a tmobile but you are with att?

    i want to but a smart phone but dont have the money for the extra monthly bill, i like the palms, sidekick, blackberrys, jack.......... does any one know? i want to buy on ebay and not pay the extra monthly stuff can you do that???/

    do you have to have a plan to get a black jack 1 or 2 for att?

    i want to get a smart phone that kind of resimblez a blackberry so i found the black jack but dont know if i have to have a plan i also like the palm pixi plus. im thinking bout goin on ebay and getting it and puting my sim card in but dont know if it will work??? any suggestions????? pleeeeezzz
