DVD optical unit on my laptop doesn't work. Is there any way to install Windows without it?

I am making animation in macromedia flash cs3. I draw in adobe illustrator and then import objects into macromedia flash. So I have drawn field of barley and used blur effect on it in illustrator. Then I imported it into flash but here is the problem: when I want to work on in flash it works...

ok, im guna try and make this as short as i can.... im on a mac osx ... version 10.4.10. its a macbookpro and probably a couple of years old now... when i go to the dock, i click on the itunes icon and it bounces 3-4 times then stops... and itunes doesnt open.... i click again... it bounces...
