i own a 93 honda hatch back. i want your opinion on whats wrong with it. my thoughts are that the bearings are the problem. here goes, when i drive my car at the beginning from 0 to ETC.... on first gear it makes a scratching sound from the wheels and its the same for other gears too but not...

i need help my head hurts. i dont know how but my cousin passed it before selling it to me. and i heard where i live in california i need a 93 or newer motor to legally pass smog and drive. help please.
