i missed your intro but i kinda got it when the #1 is @ tdc bolth valves on #1 will be closed and you can ck it on the har. balancer timing marks abt 5%- hope you got the spark plugs out and w/ you want too ck is tdc in #1 i pencil or a dowell will wk and make shure its long to feel the piston...
