I have downloaded several themes from Cydia and none of them work. I go to winterboard and select the theme I want but when it's resprung all that shows up is a changed background but not a changed shape or color of app icons. how do I fix this. some themes that don't work include smoog, glass...

I wanted to know if there was a way to get back inbox messages i've deleted or is there a way to see them cuz i need to see something. plz any help is appreciated.
