    bedroom painting helppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp pppppppppppppp?

    i have a darkkk purple bedroom which is decorated in a antique, french vintage way. the wall is split by a chair rail and i am stuck on which color to paint the bottom half, the upper being the dark eggplant. right now we have a white on the bottom but it is too bright for the calm theme.
