    Is it safe to have sex during your 1st trimester? very confused had mixed advice !!?

    This morning my GP told advised me not to have sexual intercourse with my partner during my 1st trimester. This is because I have had 2 previous miscarriages. Im confused as all my pregnancy books say its perfectly safe to have sex. Also alot of websites do aswell.
