    If I discontinue my cable tv service and just keep the internet?

    if we keep just the internet which as far as i can tell comes into the house through a co-ax cable, can i still get programming for the tv? at all? what "goes away" if the cable is shut off, do we just lose the tv, or does it affect other stuff in the house? we have tivo, xbox live wifi and...
