    Unable to execute Adobe Flash Player.?

    I have just down loaded Adobe Flash Player, however, I am unable to execute it. There is a message like "Before install/execute Adobe Flash Player, please close the Firefox." In fact, the Firefox is not operating. I cannot do the .exe file. Can someone please help. Thanks.
