Fault code is P0442, System passes smoke test, filler cap has been tested and replaced along with inspection of the filler neck and connection to fuel tank. LDP also just replaced and fault light still comes on every two days. There is no visible damage to any of hoses and occasionally a smell...

I know the fault light is for EVAP fault, i have OBD II reader and can reset it, but the fault comes back continually. I have replaced and cleaned the fuel cap twice and it has been to two garages, bit hfind no problem anywhere in the fuel tank holding pressure... any idea?
