    There would have been no obligation to vet the 680X0 system. The contract stipulated 68020 did it not ? Why would Collins project want to paint itself into a corner ?

    Every time I looked at the project it seemed to be in free fall. This points to someone on the job, causing problems by their ineptitude. Because the job was effectively complete, pre-contract signing. (around 1986)

    "DSOTs" tests (daily system? operability tests) ? Why would it be difficult to run them ? Did someone not want to sign the system off as integrated ? Did the system work, and was someone lying saying it didn't work ? "Were you lying all the time" Cranberries lyrics
