    my ford taurus 2001,check engine light is on for a while but every once in a while the

    the check engine light comes one to let you know there is a problem,it could be big most likely small.The oil light is flashing but It is a code that is it flashing.Best bet if to take it to a mechanic so he can decipher the code,it could be something as simple as a spark plug.
