    Why is the engine light on on my 1991 Ford Taurus?

    My engine light goes on and off. Usually it comes on right as i hit somewhere between 45 to 50 mph. Then sometimes it will go off again when I let off the gas. I have notice when I go real slow it sputters and I know I need new shocks. But other than that the car runs great.When I say sputters...
