    I am always negative on myself,i play sports and i get down on myself?

    when i play basketball, i mess up and i just get so mad at myself..i want to play to my full potentional but im always negative saying "i can't do it"..if i say i can do it, does that really help? i mean, if i am negative i am expecting bad progress, if i end up doing good then its like a gift...
