    Why does God feel the need to test us?

    Christians have said that God put us on earth because life is a test. what's the point? why does God need to test us if he already knows what the outcoming result will be?

    If you were god would you put a tree in a garden and then tell people not to eat

    from it? knowing that they will....and knowing good and well what will happen when they do? and would you also create a talking snake that you know will convince them to eat from it?
