I douse it with WD-40 twice a day, and that only keeps the squeaking quiet for maybe 10 or 15 minutes of riding. The noise is sort of a sqeaking/creaking. How do I make it shut up permanently?
This happened to me yesterday on the Williamsburg Bridge, speed was 25-30 mph. It almost felt like being pelted with small pebbles or rubber bands.
