Is it true that Page Plus will no longer allow activation of Verizon per-paid phones?

Does anyone use Page Plus cellular and use a flashed Verizon Phone?
The hub hub online is that Verizon is no longer allowing its prepaid phones to work with Page Plus, and that even existing PPC users will have to get Page Plus phones? Has anyone heard this rumor? -
