Ive got some fish tank sand for my fish tank so i put it in and then filled it up with water but the water is all brown and mucky i left it over night to see if the water would settle and go clear but it didnt is there a special way to put the sand in so it wont do that? thanks

okay so ive got 1 dude fish and 1 girl fish and they are in the same tank and the water keeps going cloudy and i read that it might be because the dude fish is fertalising eggs i dunno what it means and ive also been told that i shouldnt empty the water when it goes cloudy any ideas about whats...
