why do some bluetooth headsets not work with all cell phones? Isn't bluetooth a universal technology that follows the same handshaking algorithms across all manufacturers?

I have a creative media player. Although I like the creative media organizer, I have noticed that the creative software doesn't synch playlist info, so now I am thinking about using WMP to synch media. However, there is one problem. I have my media in a single folder and haven't created folders...
