    Which is better, The Vampire Diaries books or TV series?

    I never got the opportunity to read the books, but I adore the TV series!!! I did hear that there were a few differences, such as..... IN the books elena had a little sister & in the series she had a brother. I like how they changed that though. I like the series all the way through.
