    How can I tell if my neck is "out", or just a pulled muscle?

    I had to crawl under a house, and fix some broken water lines. I am certain that this is when the injury occurred. I was laying on my side, holding my head upright, and pulled super hard to loosen a pipe. Now I can hardly turn it to the right side. Is it out, or pulled muscles?
