The 90's was dominated by a little family show called: The Simpsons. Some of my other personal favorites from the 90's include: Tiny Toons, Batman:TAS/TNBA, Beast Wars/Machines, Superman:TAS, and South Park.

I concur with that. One of the problems with Family Guy now is the lack of depth. While Stan is hard and does crazy things is because of his stance on his belief, Peter does crazy things because he's reckless for humor's sake.

I enjoy watching Arthur as well. I really liked the books and I would always watch the show when I was little. I don't watch it as much as I used to, but it's still pretty fun when I do get the chance to watch it. Even though I haven't seen that much of the show, Cyberchase is another enjoyable...

Continuity and canon is fine, but I still don't get why it's so important for some fans to see the characters age. We've seen older versions of The Simpsons characters in 2 flash forward episodes, neither of which were very good. We've seen the Rugrats characters' older selves in All Grown Up...
