The answer is a big fat "It depends"... The size of the pipes is not that important. What matters is how much air they flow. A motor is basically a big air pump, sucking air in the intake and pushing it out the exhaust. Change the air flow to much and you will need to change the amount of fuel...

I just bought an 05 s2r800. Couldnt resist the price though work needs to be done on the bike. Its not as strong as the hyper, but if i can convince the wifey to let me have 2 bikes at a time, the 848 will be in my humble stable. Thanks guys!
