Presenting toonzone's Top 25 Anime of All Time!

Wing was the only current-gen animation show on a very gracious schedule back when afternoons meant something. Nostalgia's easier when it's aired 5 times a week with a movie every now and then, compared to UC's showing of random Saturdays with an OVA...or a show made in 0079. When you...

I think the first album I ever bought was The Cranberries 'Everybody else is doing it, so why can't we'. Its still one of my favourite albums to date.

    Top 10 Rock Bands Ever?

Wow, that's an interesting way to look at it. I personally would like to think that The Beatles are one of the most influencial rock banRAB of all time. Rush are about as rock as you can get next to AC/DC and Black Sabbath redefined the genre of rock music in the late 60's.

Rock/Metal Albums That Still Sound New

Orchestral textures, Drum Machines, Juxtaposing vocal styles. This is hugely underated too. Was this the first Avant Garde Metal album? Quite possibly.

    screaming/gutteral vocals

HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

Jesus, how the fuck did you manage to start an argument in a recommendations thread? I'm trying to get more into metal and I want to start with the roots. I've got Sabbath, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden and a few others. I know there was much more metal in the seventies and early...

Damn, Janszoon, you gots mad writing skillz. And, of course, exquisite taste in music. I'm actually excited for what you'll put up next. If I'm ever in Philadelphia I'm going to find you and make you listen to that ASF record so I can see you throw down and party.

    Unpopular Music Opinions

I think that's more something people base off who's covering it and not the cover. Her cover of Knocking On Heavens Door is also excellent, way way way way better than the Guns and Roses version thats for sure.
