Slightly incorrect. That's actually the FCC's policy. For shows that are syndicated, the FCC requires that they run for at least 13 weeks. This means that a show must have either 13 episodes for weekly syndication or 65 episodes for "daily" (which in this case means Monday through Friday)...

Well I haven't watched Naruto Shippuden in a while, but I made an exception for this. I've been waiting for this since Shippuden began, and I was glad they only made it into 2 episodes, so they couldn't cram it full of filler.
