Colors was the best album that I bought in 2008. Funny thing is, I bought Emmure's newest CD and Colors at the same time, I listened to BTBAM way more. Prequel To The Sequel was epic.

For sure. Have you ever listened to Mason Jennings? He seems like your kind of thing, and as you can see he's been dominating my charts the last couple weeks.

A lot of long-standing supporting characters are introduced in Dragon Ball as well, like Bulma, Krillin, Chi-chi, Piccolo... Dragon Ball is well worth your time, not just for intros but stories as well. But yeah, you could certainly jump into DBZ if you really want to that badly.
