    Grateful Dead

Any of the Dick's Picks are a solid choice. If you're looking for studio I'd say start with Workingman's Dead or American Beauty, but of course the real Dead experience is with the live stuff.

Community Thread / Tips and Questions

Do you guys think a flash-fiction thread would work in here? Something for short, 100-500 word pieces? I wouldn't mind it as a break from all the poetry.

'Doubt' starring Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman

It looks very "worthy" but I can't see it being a crowd puller..........Streep looks very severe in the whole of that clip. Must have been a big change for her after the frivolity of Mamma Mia.

When will we get the 'Big' films out on BD?

Let's not forget, if DVD history is anything to go by, studios will no doubt first release movies with some extras, then several months/years later to go on to release the special editions versions of the same movie.

    Japanese Animation - help needed!

If it's the giant robot element of Appleseed he likes, can't go far wrong with Neon Genesis Evangelion or if he would prefer a humourous twist, Martian Successor Nadesico. I've only seen Appleseed once, so if its any other element, then I'll not be much help, but Alphonse was cool!

    Adam Sandler

S**t. Utter s**t. I've never been able to sit through one of his films in its entirety (except Waterboy, but that was to shut the ex-girlfriend up for a few hours). One of the most overrated "actors" and "comedians" out there.
