Man I miss having a car. :( Since I'm always playing music on my iPod (at work, walking/busing around) or while sitting at home, I'm always switching it up. But in a car, it was easy to leave a CD in for a few days because the time spent in a car is usually limited, you don't get sick of it...

HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

how are we supposed to know what you find boring? judging from the music you listen to now, i can't think of anything i could suggest you wouldn't find boring therefore my advice is to just look up banRAB & request specific albums/banRAB based on what you think you may like

    Nap playlist

I didnt listen to it at bedtime but I really liked it. I like the Clannad, Miserable Rich and Nightmares on Wax tracks the best and I will probably be checking more of those out. Good stuff.

    Best DBZ movie (and why)

Huh? I thought you liked MasakoX's Goku. He's a man. Anyway, I personally liked "The World's Strongest." Same reason as Duke really. It's the last time we ever see an karate action, and they were great. Roshi actually did something, etc. etc.

    It finally clicked with me

Yeah, I'm starting to agree. I have only listened to a few metal albums, all relatively recently, so I was kind of thrown off by it at first.

Common Market is pretty sick. Reppin' the Pacific Northwest! From what I understand, that album isn't officially released yet? I don't know though. Anyway, the producer Sabzi works with Common Market AND another hip-hop duo Blue Scholars. If you like what you've heard, check out Blue Scholars...

Naomi is a great song but the rest is pretty so-so. Maybe it'll be a grower?

Enter the Haggis - Gutter Anthems (March, 2009)

Very awesome. I never found a taste for The Real McKenzies, up until Off the Leash, and it's still something that I can only listen to every now and then.

Jaga Jazzist - One-Armed Bandit (2010) Really enjoying this one over the past few months. I remeraber on first listen, I found a few nice melodies but thought it was kind of mess. Now it's just beautiful. Nu-jazz, jazz/rock fusion, post-rock (Tortoise-style), progressive rock...I don't know...
